Profits up at Perkins Slade

Birmingham-based broker reports stable turnover in 2014.

Perkins Slade has reported 24% increase in post-tax profits to £90,432 for the year ended 31 August 2014.

The Birmingham-based broker also revealed a 2% uptick in turnover to £5.38m (2013: £5.3m) for the period.

The figures, in a document filed at Companies House, also showed the firm had invested £259,000 as it relocated to newly refurbished offices.

In the strategic report section of the document the broker stated that the rise in turnover came as new business was offset by reduced service fee
