Aviva launches cyber cover for SMEs

Insurer says cover will also include risk management services to help customers prepare in advance.

Aviva has launched what it describes as its first cyber cover for small to mid-market customers to help combat the threat of data and privacy breach.

The insurer said it has partnered with data services company IDT911 to provide insurance that offers cover and risk management services to help customers prepare in advance for and manage any issues after a data loss or breach.

Aviva added the cyber cover complements any commercial combined policy at new business, mid-term or renewal and provides
