Towergate Insurance Brokers hires Carolyn Callan
Callan takes on newly created business development and marketing director role.
Towergate Insurance Brokers has appointed Carolyn Callan to the newly created role of business development and marketing director.
She will report directly to CEO Mike Lawton and her responsibilities will be to focus on business development while also leading marketing for the broker.
Callan has spent the last six months working as a consultant developing the new Towergate proposition for small SMEs, according to the company.
Prior to joining Towergate she was director of commercial for Swinton

FSCS gives first insight on increasing levy to £394m
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme has indicated its levy for 2025/26 will rise to £394m from £265m this financial year as it cited having lower surpluses to carry forward and offset bills – a factor that has benefited brokers for two years in a row.
