Wheatley “disappointed” by FCA exit

Outgoing chief executive indicates “unfinished business” at the regulator.

Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) chief executive, Martin Wheatley - who is leaving in September - has told a public meeting at the regulator that he is "disappointed" to be going.

Fellow Incisive Media title, Professional Adviser, reported that Wheatley said to the meeting that he will depart leaving behind a "sense of unfinished business".

The FCA revealed last week that Wheatley would be leaving after four years in the role.
