CII appoints Lloyds Bank's Fletcher as president

Former Aviva man Robert Fletcher to succeed Brokerbility’s Ashwin Mistry.

Robert Fletcher has been elected the 119th president of The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Fletcher is secured lending operations director at Lloyds Banking Group and has previously worked in a range of commercial marketing and distribution roles at Aviva.

He succeeds Brokerbility chairman Ashwin Mistry.

CII members also voted John Moore, chartered insurance broker and chairman of Thomas Carroll Group as CII deputy president. Insurance Age revealed in May that Moore was set for the deputy
