Profits up at Moneysupermarket
Group and insurance revenues rise at aggregator in first half of 2015.
Moneysupermarket.com has revealed an 18% rise in group revenue for the first six months of 2015 to £143.9m.
Post-tax profit jumped by 44% to £30.2m as adjusted operating profit rose 28% to £50.8m.
Revenues in the insurance division reached £73.59m, an 8% uplift on the £68.07m achieved in the same period of 2014.
The aggregator described that motor insurance premiums increased in the first half of the year which it said encouraged greater in interest in switching.
