A-Plan to target specialist brokers
Chief executive Carl Shuker says acquisitions manager hire allows broker to seek out businesses to buy.
Carl Shuker, chief executive officer of A-Plan Insurance has confirmed the broker is looking to buy regional or specialist brokers, following the appointment of acquisitions manager Jonathan Hartley.
Shuker told Insurance Age: "We're looking for well-run businesses, mainly regional community brokers with strong client relationships who want a new home for their policies and staff.
"We're also looking at specialist brokers within for example high net worth, caravan, equine, marine and SME
