FCA confirms PPI claims deadline consultation
Eighteen firms face cost of funding £42.2m communications campaign.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has delivered its consultation paper on introducing a deadline for making payment protection insurance (PPI) complaints.
The regulator first flagged the consultation on 2 October and has now published the details and called for industry responses.
Among the topics being analysed are:
a new rule that would set a deadline by which consumers would need to make their (PPI) complaints or else lose their right to have them assessed by firms or by the OmbudsmanOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
