Insurance Linx buys Southend-based broker
Broker says purchase of Rimington's will add close to £1m GWP to its business.
Insurance Linx has purchased the business of Southend-based Rimington's Finance and Insurance Brokers for an undisclosed sum.
The commercial broker, based in Towcester, said Rimington's had been trading for over 40 years and that the partners of the family-run firm, Bill and Janet Rimington, would be retiring following the sale.
According to Insurance Linx, the acquisition will add almost £1m in gross written premium (GWP) to the business.
