Zurich promotes David Nichols to COO for UKGI
Nichols will begin new role in January.
Zurich has appointed David Nichols as its new chief operating officer for its UK general insurance (UKGI) business.
The provider said he joined the company in 2004 from Aviva and has held a number of operations and customer service roles since then.
He replaces Barry Perkins who becomes EMEA programme director for IT transformation as part of executive team changes unveiled in the wake of profit falls and job losses announced by the insurer.
