Direct Commercial buys Liberty motor account
Move follows Liberty’s exit from the UK motor market earlier this year.
Direct Commercial Ltd (DCL) has acquired the renewal rights for Liberty Specialty Markets' commercial motor account.
This follows on from Liberty exiting the niche UK motor market following a strategic review in October.
Renewals
DCL said that the agreement will see all renewals due from 1 January 2016 onwards being invited by DCL. Renewal invitations and quotations prior to this date will be honoured by Liberty.
Liberty will also continue to handle the administration and claims on policies
