Biba chairman Lord Hunt: Majority of brokers want to stay in EU
The peer says a vote to leave would be "jumping into the abyss".
British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) chairman Lord David Hunt has told Insurance Age the "overwhelming majority" of brokers he has spoken to want to stay in Europe.
He said remaining in the union offers the "best of both worlds" and intermediaries will benefit from a smoother functioning single market following the reforms negotiated by Prime Minister David Cameron.
