Leaving the EU gives industry opportunities, says broker boss
Alexander Miller managing director Melanie Hampton states UK insurance industry should stand on its own two feet.
The benefits of leaving the European Union would far outweigh any negatives, according to Melanie Hampton, managing director at Alexander Miller Insurance Brokers.
Hampton was one of 110 City business leaders who signed a letter to the Evening Standard backing the Vote Leave campaign ahead of the upcoming EU Referendum on June 23.
"The insurance industry is incredibly well developed and has been, if not the leading market in the world, then certainly near it," she told Insurance Age.
