Flood Re sees surge in insurer support
Organisation says 36 insurers have gone live since launch of scheme.
Thirty-six providers have signed up to Flood Re since its launch on 4 April this year, according to the organisation.
Flood Re went live with 16 insurers and noted it has seen an increase of 125% in the first ten weeks.
The organisation said the support of the insurance industry was crucial to its long-term success and noted that these 36 providers represent 85% of the overall market.
Brokers
At the time of the launch there was a degree of controversy in the broker sector when some insurers said
