Allianz: Transparency disclosure in post-Brexit future

Low growth in the insurance industry plus Brexit means brokers depend even more on commissions.

The viability of the insurance market depends on brokers making good returns on their commission post Brexit, Allianz's director of broker markets told Insurance Age, while noting that it was important for earnings to be disclosed.

Andrew Broughton said that the disclosure of broker commission added value to customer relationships. 

"Brokers have nothing to fear when it comes to disclosing remunerations to customers," Broughton said.
