Stanmore Nursery Scheme breaks £2m mark

Firm plans to increase the specialist nursery scheme and the commercial broking business over the next five years.

Stanmore Insurance Brokers has stated that it broke the £2m mark in premiums for its specialist nursery scheme Dot2dot.

Launched in 2003, the childcare sector provider said the Dot2dot insurance scheme covered 70,000 children in over 1,700 nurseries throughout the UK and protects in excess of £1.7bn in assets.

Jenny Hyde, Dot2dot scheme manager, said the £2m in gross written premium was a key goal for the scheme in 2016.
