Brokers support push on whiplash claims, says Aviva’s Townend
Biba backs Aviva’s stance as insurer urges government to pursue reforms.
Aviva has reissued its call for the government to pursue legislation reforms around whiplash claims.
According to the insurer, its research found that 83% of respondents wanted the government to honour its commitments and that the reforms as currently proposed could cut motor premiums by an average £43.
George Osborne originally proposed the amendments in the Autumn 2015 statement when he was chancellor.
