Biba publishes demands ahead of Autumn Statement
Trade body urges Chancellor of the Exchequer to consider a number of issues including IPT and Brexit.
The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) has set out its demands ahead of the November Autumn Statement, urging the Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond to take a number of issues affecting brokers and their customers into account.
In a letter the trade body called upon the Chancellor to consider topics including the recent rises in Insurance Premium Tax (IPT), flood defences, insurance fraud, regulation as a barrier to innovation, provision of financial advice and Brexit.
