Crawford takes on some of Michael Rea’s responsibilities after he became retail CEO role following Stuart Reid’s departure.

Charles Crawford has been appointed UK operations director at Arthur J Gallagher subject to regulatory approval.

This follows the recent announcement that Gallagher would be recruiting a senior operations director to assume some of Michael Rea's operational responsibilities after his appointment as CEO of UK retail following Stuart Reid leaving the business.

Crawford will report into and support Rea in his ongoing role as chief operating officer for Gallagher's international brokerage business.
