Principal buys motorcycle book from Rampdale
Deal adds nearly 7,000 bikes to Principal’s portfolio.
Principal Insurance has bought the motorcycle insurance book from Rampdale Insurance Brokers for an undisclosed sum.
The Manchester-based broker stated that the deal has added nearly 7,000 bikes to its portfolio taking its total to almost 40,000.
Principal's managing director, Dave Bowcock said: "Rampdale had built a relatively small but strong book which neatly complements our existing presence in the motorcycle insurance sector.
