I agree with the views presented in Tony Cornell's article on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) (Insurance Age, April, p16). Commercial brokers should not be subjected to these distracting rules when they already operate in a competitive environment, their customers are business people and the contracts are short-term. Surely this is not what TCF is all about? Proper TCF rules need to address real problems, including:
