I feel obliged to respond to 'Bring home the business' published in the September issue (p38), not least due to the inappropriate inferences made in the article regarding the regulatory regime in Gibraltar. The Gibraltar Financial Service Commission (FSC) is committed to ensuring that it complies with accepted international regulatory standards. In the case of insurance, this is with the Insurance Core Principles (ICPs) of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors.
