I am sure the majority of brokers will be relieved that the Financial Services Authority (FSA) has decided to allow the industry to come up with its own solution to meeting the five outcomes related to commission disclosure. Is it too much to hope that the FSA will one day employ sufficient people with practical working experience of commercial insurance? In view of the essential part commercial insurance plays in the UK economy, a little more knowledge at Canary Wharf might have enabled this
