A recent accident has highlighted everything that is wrong with the current motor claims process, explains Tony Cornell
I recently experienced an incident that displayed all that is wrong with the current motor claims process. A car, used by my wife, was at a garage for an MOT when it was hit by a reversing delivery van while stationary. There were four witnesses to the accident who corroborated the version of the collision and the driver happily gave details, apologising for the incident.
I decided to claim from my insurer, Aviva, as it seemed simpler that going direct against the other parties. They were great
