Game of claims
Robin Reames, founding director of RecoverMe, explains why the insurance world mirrors that of Westeros in Game of Thrones.
I was a late convert to Game of Thrones: a luddite who refuses to have satellite TV but who was persuaded to watch series one on DVD. I confess I have been hooked ever since. I love the shifting power struggles, the pragmatic yet tenuous alliances, the sinister plotting, double-crosses and betrayals, the cynical survivors and the hubris of the powerful. It is Machiavelli on the big screen. It also made me reflect there are certain parallels in the world of insurance.
