In the run-up to the Insurance Act 2015 coming into force last year, there was a great deal of speculation about what impact it would have.
For insurers of some lines of business, the Act represented an opportunity; if an insurer's policies previously included innocent non-disclosure clauses or similar language, the new remedies available under the Act could be attractive.
