Products: UK General broadens tradesman product

UK General has been celebrating the signing of a new capacity deal with MMA to broaden its tradesman’s liability offering. The development is the latest step in the company’s strategy of growing its commercial product set following its capacity deal in June with Catlin on high risk product liability.

The insurer already had an online per capita style product for tradesmen, which covered public and employer liability along with tools, but said the new deal allowed it to sub- delegate this capacity on a scheme basis for its brokers.
