Groupama is aiming to sweep up business in the cleaning world, an industry it believes has a turnover of £5.3bn a year. The latest addition to its Exclusively range, which is available for open market trading, allows brokers to flex their commission rates.
Brokers in, presumably, clean areas with a lot of volume can contact the insurer for schemes options and, to be fair, those in dirty areas can too. Cleaners have not been a regular feature of the product pages but, suffice it to say, it was interesting to note that loss of keys – an understandable problem – can be added as an extension while misuse of phones was highlighted as being covered as standard by the insurer.
