Rural Insurance and broker UK Insurance Solutions have teamed up for the launch of the provider’s first equine delegated authority scheme.

The agricultural arm of UK General Insurance said the scheme, named Equine Insurance Solutions, was targeted at both existing clients who wanted a simpler, value product and new customers who found current offerings too expensive. It is the fourth delegated authority scheme from the insurer in recent months.

Chief operating officer Mike Ellis commented: “The UK’s agricultural insurance market needs to change, and we want to be the company brokers see leading the changes.”
