Markerstudy confirms 27 redundancies

Insurer says a total of 31 people have left the company as a result of a restructure in its Chesterfield office.

Markerstudy has made 27 people redundant from its third party claims team in Chesterfield following a restructure of its claims operations.

Insurance Age revealed earlier this month that the provider had put up to 50 people at risk of redundancy as a result of falling claims numbers.

The insurer confirmed that 27 people had been made redundant and that an additional four people left the company before the consultation period ended.
