Supreme Court issues BI declarations
The Financial Conduct Authority published the document on its website alongside a table to show relevant declarations by policy type.
The Supreme Court judges who decided whether or not insurers should pay out for business interruption claims arising from Covid-19 amid the first lockdown in March 2020.
Last year, insurers and policyholder embarked on a battle which went all the way to the Supreme Court over whether BI claims were valid, with the judges eventually finding in favour for the majority of policyholders.
