The taxi insurance market has started to see a return of some old and new competitors, a fact which has caused concern for some of the more long standing taxi insurers. They claim that after a short stable period of two to three years, the influx of new insurers could cause a return to the instability which caused many players to withdraw from the market in the late 90s.
