Insurance is lagging behind other UK industries in the awareness and application of conflict management training, according to research.
The survey - Fight, Flight or Face It, co-authored by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and psychology firm OPP - canvassed 1,000 UK firms in sectors ranging from insurance and construction to agriculture and IT.
In the insurance sector, 34% said that workplace conflict had prompted them to leave a company compared with 24% in other sectors
