Misys has urged brokers to increase their use of electronic data interchange (EDI) in response to insurer agency pressure over Motor Insurance Database (MID) delays.

With the MID requiring 95% of all driver data delivered to it within 14 days, and targets set to tighten in the next two years, the software house believes brokers need to take advantage of EDI products, to demonstrate their commitment.
