Layton Blackham has acquired Anchor, the Milton Keynes-based brokerage. It is the 21st acquisition Layton has made in recent years, and is expected to consolidate its position in commercial insurance broking. Chairman and ceo Chris Blackham said he expected Layton to expand further and acquire more firms over the next three years.
