- Retail union Usdaw held emergency talks with its members at CIS after the Manchester-based company's decision to re-employ 2,164 financial advisers. The advisers were informed by letter that they were to be dismissed, but offered new jobs with CIS under different terms and conditions designed to turn around the company's trading position, the union said.
