The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has launched an in-depth dictionary of insurance on its CII Information Services website, as part of its member only benefits. From abandonment of events to zillmerisation, the dictionary provides details of over 3,500 terms. "Terminology is central to insurance," said Robert Cunnew, CII head of information services, and no practitioner can be expected to understand every term they come across in the course of their business.
