Disaster recovery (DR) planning started to shoot up the agenda in company boardrooms after the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks. While it can mean anything from a fire in a small to medium sized enterprise (SME) to severe business interruption caused by terrorism, disaster recovery is now being taken more seriously.
