Patrick Snowball has joined Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT) as a non-executive director. His appointment follows that of John Paynter, who joined the board on 1 October. In a statement, the firm said Mr Snowball had enjoyed a long and successful career in the insurance industry, principally with Aviva where he was a group executive director for eight years prior to his retirement from its board in 2007.
