Lloyd and Whyte on the hunt

South-West broker Lloyd and Whyte revealed it would acquire three brokers in early 2005 in a bid to dominate the region. The company operates as a scheme broker with more than 40 staff working from four offices; two in Somerset and two overseas. Now, it wants to establish a chain of regional brokers and hopes to generate £20m in premium income in the next 18 months.
