A major new over-50s intermediary has been launched by Andrew Marchington, the former managing director of Fortis-owned RIAS. The new company, Castle Cover, is backed by HSBC Bank and Asset Ventures, part of the family investment vehicle that controls Primary Group, the Bermuda-based insurance distributor.

Castle Cover, based in Poole, Dorset said it expected to employ over 400 people within four years and would offer a UK-based customer service.
