The industry has welcomed Norwich Union's (NU) move to turn down "unreasonable" commission demands from consolidators and national brokers, calling the decision long overdue and inevitable.
John Kitson, NU sales and marketing director, told Insurance Age that poor market performance in 2007 was a wake up call for the industry.
