Managers across the insurance sector have accepted their own redundancy as 'inevitable', according to evidence compiled by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
According to the CMI, a combined analysis of calls to its redundancy hotline and poll data showed that executives had moved from 'concern about job security' to 'preparing for a job hunt'.
Against a backdrop of more than 50,000 job losses since 5 January and a total of 1.92 million unemployed, key findings of the survey, included:
