While brokers are aware that staff need to achieve certain measurable levels of competence by January, just how aware are management in general about their own training, and is this important?

Ian: It surprises me that while most brokers appreciate the need for technical training of staff to become competent in any areas of expertise, many don't appreciate the need for the supervisors and senior staff to become competent in the areas of actually managing staff.
