Polly has never been a massive fan of modern art, so when she was invited by Axa to the launch of its tradesmen and professionals suites of products at the Tate Modern, she braced herself.

After reading that at least 15 people had been hurt while visiting 'the crack' - entitled Shibboleth - that zig zags across the Tate's vast Turbine Hall, Polly made sure she watched where she was walking. However, as she stood 'admiring' the fissure, she was surprised to see a couple of white round objects
