A broker has expressed concern over the increasing lack of any liability cover for exposure to asbestos materials in the marketplace.
Phil Smith, commercial account broker, Lymm Insurance brokers, said: "We have been unable to get asbestos on the public liability risk where there is any asbestos on the premises.
"The problem is that it has been done without being announced unlike when there was a problem with terrorism cover. In our experience only one major insurer is still providing full cover
