Drivers want more than cheap motor insurance, says new survey
Bristol Business School today published new research revealing that most motor policyholders want their insurers to provide excellent customer service rather than the lowest premium prices.
Three hundred motorists from across the UK were questioned about their experiences of dealing with insurers. Key findings included:- Only 33% of drivers believe price is the most important factor when buying motor insurance
- 25% of all claimants were unhappy with the quality of service they received
- The automatic provision of a replacement vehicle tops the list of services policyholders would like their insurers to provide
- 85% of respondents shop around when the time comes to renew their
