Intermediary network the Central Electronic Trading Agency haslaunched CETA Safeguard, a new accident, sickness, unemployment and
hospitalisation product. Underwritten by NIG, the product costs £4.95 per
£100 of cover including insurance premium tax. Policyholders can protect
up to 60% of their monthly financial outgoings, subject to a maximum
monthly payment of £2500. The policy can be set for 12 months or extended
to 24 months.
