In the July issue of Professional Broking, Peter Staddon answered a
management clinic question regarding the placing of compulsory
insurance.


He advised there was an industry understanding that cover would be found
and if necessary the Association of British Insurers would intercede.


I have made enquiries of the big five insurers who state they are unaware
of any industry understanding or ABI stance. Perhaps Mr Staddon would
comment?
