Jonathan Bloomer, deputy group chief executive of Prudential, has warned the market that poor risk management will destroy shareholder value and lead to the withdrawal of capital from companies with a consistently poor track record.Speaking at the Association of Insurance and Risk Managers annual dinner, held in London last night, Mr Bloomer told more than 800 risk managers that good risk management should be the objective of all organisations looking to prosper in the new millennium.
